14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

New hosting clients who are unsatisfied with our service may request a full refund within 14 days of account activation. No questions asked.

1. Hosting Services โ€” 14-Day Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all new shared hosting accounts (Starter, Business, Professional, Enterprise).

  • The 14 days begins from the date your account is activated (login details sent)
  • To claim a refund, contact us at sales@yanahosts.africa within 14 days
  • Refunds are processed via EFT to your Namibian bank account within 5โ€“7 business days
  • Only one refund per client under this guarantee

After 14 days, hosting fees are non-refundable except where we have materially failed to deliver the agreed service.

2. Renewals

Renewal payments are non-refundable. When you renew a hosting plan, you are paying to extend an existing service.

We recommend cancelling before your renewal invoice is due if you no longer require the service. Contact us at least 7 days before renewal to cancel.

3. Domain Names

Domain registrations are non-refundable. Once a domain is registered with the relevant registry, the registration fee cannot be recovered.

This applies to all domain extensions including .com.na, .africa, .com, .org, .net, .co.za, and .na. We strongly encourage you to confirm your chosen domain name before completing your order.

If a domain registration fails due to an error on our part, you will receive a full refund for that domain.

4. Email Hosting

Email hosting plans are covered by the same 14-day guarantee as web hosting when purchased as a new standalone service.

Email hosting included as part of a web hosting plan is covered under the hosting plan refund terms.

5. Website Design Services

Website design projects are governed by a separate written project agreement. Refund terms specific to design projects will be outlined in that agreement.

Generally:

  • Deposits paid to commence design work are non-refundable
  • Milestone payments made for completed work are non-refundable
  • If we are unable to deliver the agreed scope, you may be entitled to a partial refund of amounts paid for work not yet started

6. Terminations for AUP Violations

Accounts terminated due to violations of our Acceptable Use Policy or Terms & Conditions are not eligible for any refund, including within the 14-day guarantee period.

7. Service Credits

In cases where a refund is not applicable but we have experienced significant downtime or service failures, we may at our discretion offer service credits (additional hosting time) as compensation. Credits are governed by our SLA Agreement.

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email sales@yanahosts.africa with the subject "Refund Request"
  2. Include your full name, order reference number, and reason for the refund
  3. We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day
  4. Approved refunds are processed within 5โ€“7 business days via EFT

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes apply to services purchased after the revised effective date. Your rights under the policy in place at time of purchase are preserved.
